Crush Walls
Crush Walls is an annual event that takes place in the RiNo (River North) neighborhood of Denver, CO. Every year, the city commissions both local and internally-renowned artists to paint the alleyways and large-scale walls with their latest inspirations: all using spray paint.
Photographer
Visual Storytelling: Captured the evolution of large-scale murals, translating each artist’s inspiration and creative journey into compelling imagery.
Artist Engagement: Spent time with featured artists—R0melle, Alexandra Pangburn, Pharaoh One, Brian Scott Hampton, and ESIC—to understand their vision, mindset, and artistic process.
Authentic Documentation: Focused on highlighting the raw energy, technique, and gratitude that fuels the street art community.
Community & Culture: Showcased the vibrancy of Denver’s RiNo Art District, reinforcing CRUSH Walls’ role as a cultural cornerstone.
Emotive Connection: Through photography, I aimed to bridge the gap between the artists' minds and the audience, celebrating creativity in its most unfiltered form.
